On behalf of the Manitoba Transit Heritage Association, thank you for your generous support!
Your donation, big or small, enables our volunteers to continue restoration and maintenance work on the fleet of authentic vintage classic buses and continue to tell the story of the unique contributions made by public transit through our community outreach programming and special event displays.
We're ambitious for the future and plan on playing the long game. We operate as a museum and charity, and need to grow revenue in creative ways to invest in our future. Financial sustainability for the MTHA requires reserves, external fundraising and the generosity of donors to enable capital investment in projects and support daily operations.
Our main income streams are from donations (80%), memberships, fundraising, film & TV production, and corporate memberships. The Manitoba Transit Heritage Association, Inc. is registered under the Corporations Act of Manitoba and is a registered tax charitable organization under the Income Tax Act (Canada).
