The Manitoba Transit Heritage Associaition was established on July 21, 1989.
The Manitoba Transit Heritage Association's aims are to preserve vintage buses and memorabillia, and to educated the public about public transportation history.
It is governed by an elected Board of Directors.
The Manitoba Transit Heritage Association operates on Treaties 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 territory, traditional meeting grounds, gathering place and travelling route to the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples. We acknowledge all the many First Nations and Red River Metis people whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
